Is there snow in Levi in January?
Yes, reliably. Mid-mountain had 30 cm or more of modelled natural snow on 99% of January days over the last 30 winters, before any snowmaking.
How many recent winters had reliable snow at Levi in January?
29 of the last 30. In those winters mid-mountain had 30 cm or more of natural snow on at least 90% of January days. Thirty winters show how much one season differs from the next; how winters have changed is covered by the long record.
Does this include snowmaking?
No. These figures are modelled natural snow only, so groomed pistes often ski better than this.
