Questions
Is there snow in Serre Chevalier in March?
Yes, reliably. Mid-mountain had 30 cm or more of modelled natural snow on 100% of March days over the last 30 winters, before any snowmaking.
How many recent winters had reliable snow at Serre Chevalier in March?
All of the last 30. In those winters mid-mountain had 30 cm or more of natural snow on at least 90% of March days. Thirty winters show how much one season differs from the next; how winters have changed is covered by the long record.
Does this include snowmaking?
No. These figures are modelled natural snow only, so groomed pistes often ski better than this.
